Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler have opened up about their friendship and Netflix movie.

Aniston and Sandler’s “Murder Mystery” movie was a huge hit. Due to the success of the comedy-mystery flick, Aniston and Sandler might be starring in a sequel.

“I don’t know 100 percent what the sequel is. They’re working on it right now,” Sandler told Us Weekly.

The success of the film could be due to Sandler and Aniston’s friendship. According to the “Uncut Gems” star, he is “great friends” with Aniston. He also complimented how great the actress works without him, so he was very glad that she worked with him.

Sandler considers Aniston an “icon” and thanked her for still doing movies with him. Aniston said she only took the role because of her friendship with Sandler and because they filmed in Italy.

“That’s the only reason. We just were spoiled rotten and just had fun,” Aniston revealed.

“Oh, my God, I love this man with all my heart. This is one of the kindest human beings you’ll ever meet,” Aniston said of Sandler.

Meanwhile, Aniston is expected to reunite with her ex-husband Brad Pitt later this month for the Screen Actor’s Guild Awards. Aniston is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for her performance on “The Morning Show.” Meanwhile, Pitt has a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for his role in “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”

Pitt and Aniston reunited earlier this year at the Golden Globe Awards. Pitt was asked on the red carpet if it’s okay with him to run into his ex-wife. The “Ad Astra” actor said it was fine with him and even called Aniston a “good friend.”

Pitt and Aniston have rekindled their friendship years after their divorce. Last year, Pitt was spotted attending Aniston’s 50th birthday bash. He was also present when the “Cake” actress hosted a holiday party days before Christmas at her house.
