Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming dance reality TV show, “World of Dance,” hasn’t even started yet, but it already has its own counterpart on Snapchat.

Just recently, the judge and executive producer of the NBC reality TV competition shared a trailer for “World of Dance” on Snapchat. The clip revealed that 16 dancers will be going head-to-head for a dance-off, showcasing their skills and moves.

Viewers following “World of Dance” on Snapchat will be the ones to decide who they think deserves to win. New episodes of “World of Dance” will be released on the social media site every Monday, a day ahead of the regular release date for the reality TV competition on NBC.

For the past couple of months, the producers of the show have invited dancers from different parts of the world and from all walks of life to audition for what is being dubbed as the “Olympics of Dance.” All of those who auditioned were categorized into three: soloists, duos and groups.

Lopez is joined by Ne-Yo and Derek Hough as judges on the show. “Step Up” star Jenna Dewan Tatum will act as host. All four celebrities who are part of “World of Dance” are knowledgeable in dance and also have experience as professional dancers.

Meanwhile, only one dancer, duo or group of dancers will be declared as the first ever winner of “World of Dance.” Whoever will be given the title will also bring home the $1 million grand prize. As of late, it is still unclear whether or not “World of Dance” will be picked up by NBC for Season 2. But the new show is set to air right after another hit NBC reality TV show, “America’s Got Talent.”

The latter is expected to return to television next year, and this is one of the reasons why NBC opted to not pick up the “American Idol” reboot. With this, there’s hope that the network will stick to their “America’s Got Talent” and “World of Dance” lineup next year.

“World of Dance” is set to premiere on May 30 at 10 p.m. EDT.
