Amber Heard blackmailed, threatened and manipulated Johnny Depp.

Comedian Doug Stanhope wrote an article for The Wrap about Heard and Depp in 2016. He admitted that he is friends with the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star and shared how Depp was sleepless and restless before his ex-wife accused him of domestic violence.

Stanhope and his girlfriend Bingo were at Depp’s house on the day before the alleged assault. Depp opened up about his mother who passed away and also spoke on how Heard had been “threatening to lie about him publicly in any and every possible duplicitous way if he didn’t agree to her terms,” Stanhope wrote, adding that Heard’s threats were “blackmail.”

Bingo and Stanhope told Depp about their observations on how manipulative Heard was. Several people noticed the same and Depp was dumbstruck that nobody told him earlier, but he thanked them for being honest.

“He still pronounced his love for Amber but was presciently aware that she was going to pull off some kind of ruse to [explicit] him over,” he added.

Depp had not slept for days with anxiety and Stanhope knew that the actor was aware about what was coming because what he told them came true that night as reports about him abusing Heard made headlines.

“Later that night the police were called to his house for a domestic dispute. Finding no criminal act had occurred and no signs of physical abuse, the police left,” he continued.

“Everything Johnny had told us that she’d been threatening had actually come to be. It blew up in the news, raced through the Internet like a plague and blew up on Twitter like it was the McMartin child abuse scandal. People are swarming with torches on social media. I watched it all happen ahead of time and I watched it come to fruition today. And I haven’t been able to sleep again because I didn’t say [explicit] to defend him.”

Heard reacted by filing a defamation suit against Stanhope. She also made more allegations against Depp.

In an interview with GQ in 2018, Depp confessed that he could feel how the people looked at him differently after Heard’s abuse allegations. However, he knew that the truth would come out and he would be standing on the right side. Today, the public has been campaigning for justice for Depp after an audio recording of Heard confessing that she hit her estranged husband leaked.
