Justin Bieber recently shut down rumors that he is dating.

In his upcoming appearance on “The Ellen Show” on Monday, Dec. 5, Bieber tells host Ellen DeGeneres that he is single and not ready to mingle. “I’m not dating anybody. Single. I’m not really looking either,” he says. DeGeneres goes on to ask if Bieber has been on the popular dating app Tinder, and the singer answers, “no.”

Other than his dating life, Bieber and DeGeneres also talk about the “Love Yourself” singer’s skyrocketing music career, as well as some of his accomplishments. Toward the end of his interview, Bieber also serenades DeGeneres and the audience with his latest single, “Cold Water.”

Meanwhile, Bieber recently split from his girlfriend, Sofia Richie, after only six weeks of being together. A few months ago, Bieber tried to defend Richie from bashers who have been posting negative comments about her on social media. In August, Bieber announced that he will put his Instagram account on private if the negativity will continue. This move didn’t sit well with Bieber’s ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, who told him that he should stop posting photos of Richie if they don’t want the attention.

As of late, the reason for their breakup hasn’t been confirmed, but a source close to the “Sorry” crooner said that Bieber didn’t want to be in a committed relationship with Richie or anyone else.

Nonetheless, Richie seemed to believe that Bieber is a good boyfriend. She previously told Billboard that it’s very easy to talk to Bieber about anything. “We have a special relationship. Justin is very easy to talk to, and that’s hard to find with people in Los Angeles,” she said. Talking about her online bashers, Richie clarified that she never felt bothered by them.
