Kanye West can hardly wait to welcome his second child into the world. He and wife Kim Kardashian West announced that they were expecting May 31, revealing one month later they were having a baby boy. While it was initially reported that Kim, 35, was due on Christmas, it seems her and Kanye's newest bundle of joy could be arriving sooner than expected.

According to Us Weekly, the "All Day" rapper took the stage at Footwear News' 29th Annual Achievement Awards to accept Show of the Year on Wednesday when he launched into a discussion about his unborn child. Kanye, 38, told attendees he was patiently awaiting his son's arrival. He added that the baby, who's name has yet to be revealed, will be here "any day now."

"I'm waiting on my son to arrive any day now," he said. "And I look at my daughter [North West] and I look at my wife and she's rich and I don't plan on being broke."

Kim was recently hospitalized and forced to undergo a painful procedure, called external cephalic version (ECV). The star of E!'s "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" detailed the procedure in a blog post telling fans it was "more painful than childbirth." She shared with readers that she was not given any medication to dull the pain as doctors manually turned her son from a breech position to the proper birthing position, which is head down. The procedure was a success and Kim is no longer stressing about being forced to deliver her child via cesarean section.

The reality star has been very vocal about her various struggles throughout her pregnancy. On Nov. 13, she shared a blog post in which she called the experience of child baring "awful," noting that her mother, Kris Jenner, and sister, Kourtney Kardashian, both found it to be "blissful." She told readers she refused to lie about her experience, acting like it was more enjoyable than it really was.

Kim later allowed E!'s cameras to tag along during Season 11, episode 3 of "KUWTK" as she visited her doctor to find out why she was so swollen after a trip to Paris. Kim's doctor revealed to her that she was at a higher risk than most of contracting gestational diabetes and should be tested immediately. The future mother of two spent the rest of the episode anxiously awaiting the results only to learn that she was in the clear.
