Prince William and Kate Middleton had a terrifying experience during one of their overseas tours.

In 2016, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made an official visit to India. According to Kara Godfrey, a journalist for Express, during the said tour, Prince William and Middleton encountered a natural disaster similar to what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle experienced in New Zealand just recently.

Prince William and Middleton were in an excursion trip to Kaziranga National Park, a protected area, which is home to tigers and elephants when a 6.9 magnitude earthquake hit Myanmar. The tremors were felt up to 500 miles away and reached the place where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were staying.

According to Rebecca English of Daily Mail, it only lasted "about a minute but was frightening." In fact, the journalists who were covering the royal tour were forced to flee from the hotel.

Two people were killed in India after the tremors while over 200 were injured. Shortly after the incident, a palace spokesperson announced that Prince William and Middleton were safe and well. The royals remained unharmed after the earthquake.

On Monday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex also encountered a similar experience in New Zealand. A 6.2 magnitude earthquake hit the North Island near New Plymouth.

Prince Harry and Markle were attending an event in Auckland and no doubt felt the tremors. But the event they attended was not disrupted. On the other hand, the parliament was briefly suspended following the tremors as a safety precaution.

"Widely felt across central NZ. Grabbing updates from officials but in the meantime, do check on those around you," Prime Minister Jacinda Ardem, who was with Markle and Prince Harry at the time wrote on Twitter.

Prince Harry and Markle are already on the last leg of their 16-day Commonwealth tour. The pregnant royal flashed her thighs in an affordable dress when they arrived in the country by wearing ASOS' "Wiggle Dress."

In related news, according to a recent report, Markle made outrageous pregnancy demands to her first husband, Trevor Engelson. She reportedly asked him to sign an agreement that he will pay for her personal trainer and nutritionist if she gets pregnant. Markle did it because she wanted to focus on her weight and be camera-ready quickly.
