“Legacies” Season 2 is turning out to be a big year for MG. Actor Quincy Fouse talked to International Business Times about MG’s multiple love interests on The CW show and how his story with Thomas Doherty’s Sebastian is far from over.

Season 2 reminded viewers last week that MG is still in touch with Kym (Ebboney Wilson), Kaleb’s (Chris Lee) sister, and Fouse said that she is “most definitely” still a love interest for MG.

“Kym loves MG for where he’s at. That’s where their chemistry happens. You do you and I’ll do me, and we’ve got this spark here,” the 22-year-old told IBT. “So, when you have such a dynamic like that there's always a lot to play with. Why not keep playing with it?”

It might not be easy for the couple, despite the instant chemistry. He isn’t sure Kym and MG will ever overcome Kaleb’s disapproval, and MG still has to get over his massive crush on Lizzie (Jenny Boyd).

“The place that MG has put [Lizzie] in, the pedestal that is hers inside of MG's heart is monumental,” Fouse noted. “That can be kind of hard to get over the fact that someone who is so objectively great is not good for you on a personal scale.”

Lizzie and MG have some more pressing issues to resolve. He still hasn’t told Lizzie that Sebastian (Thomas Doherty) isn’t a figment of her imagination. The 400-year-old (give or take) managed to come back from desiccation and is wandering around Mystic Falls. Fouse couldn’t say much, but he teased that MG is pretty conflicted in the upcoming episodes of “Legacies” Season 2.

“After going through all this back and forth and finally settling on a decision, despite all of the rollercoasters that [MG] just went through, dude’s alive now. Now he’s got to go through all sorts of emotions like, ‘Dang, do I end this guy? Do I see what he’s about? Do I go and get help? Is he going to be coming after me?’ All of those things are coming up and definitely taking up real estate in MG's head.”

Audiences will see more MG and Sebastian scenes, especially in Thursday’s episode, which also features MG, Kaleb and Kym teaming up to figure out how to take down the newest Malivore monster. Offscreen, however, there’s less tension between Doherty and Fouse.

“Oh man, he’s so dope,” the MG actor said of Doherty. “We make each other laugh so, so, so much. It gets almost distracting sometimes, but he is a professional so we’re always able to get it back to the work after a good amount of play.”

“Legacies” airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
