Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta
On “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” Season 6, episode 9, relationships will be tested. VH1

While some cast members will celebrate new chapters in their lives on “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” Season 6, episode 9, others will have to deal with acts from the past that won’t allow them to move forward.

“Stevie [J] adjusts to being a new dad,” the synopsis for “Bachelor Bash” teases. In a promo for the VH1 series that aired on television, Stevie was seen in his house fiddling with items in an attempt to prepare for his newborn Bonnie Bella’s arrival. In the previous episode, Joseline Hernandez finally gave birth to her daughter and she and Stevie agreed to co-parent.

However, Stevie’s older daughters don’t seem too keen on welcoming Joseline back into their lives without an apology. Prior to Bonnie Bella’s birth, Joseline accused Stevie of several terrible things, including molesting one of his children. They have since settled their differences however.

Despite Stevie and Joseline finally being on the same page though, it looks like his daughters will have a hard time embracing Joseline as a member of the family.

“Scrappy throws a party to celebrate his return to single life,” the episode synopsis says. In the previous episode, Scrappy and Rasheeda discussed the state of their relationships. While Rasheeda revealed that she was not sure whether or not she wanted to divorce Kirk, Scrappy revealed that his wedding to Bambi is officially off.

From the looks of the “Bachelor Bash” promo, Scrappy’s party is going to have some surprise guests in the form of his and Rasheeda’s mothers. “Momma Dee and Shirleen team up to pry into Kirk’s affairs,” the synopsis states.

In the promo for the VH1 series, Scrappy and Rasheeda can be seen looking surprised as their mothers take the stage at the event. One of the mothers can be heard asking “Where is Kirk?” Shirleen then takes the microphone and states, “I want to say,” before the promo cuts to another scene.

In the past, Shirleen has not been shy about sharing her feelings for Kirk after he cheated on her daughter. Rasheeda and Kirk are still at odds as well from Kirk’s reveal that he may have fathered Jasmine Washington’s baby.

Shirleen had previously told the couple that they need to file for divorce, but seeing as neither one has gone forward with actual paperwork, it’s clear that they still have feelings for one another and are not ready to end their relationship just yet.

Meanwhile, it looks like Momma Dee may be using Rasheeda and Kirk’s marriage troubles as a distraction from her relationship struggles with Ernest.

In the promo, Ernest can be seen telling Momma Dee that he loves her, but he loves his mother more. In the past, Momma Dee has expressed her unhappiness about how close Ernest is to his mother.

“Waka makes a grand romantic gesture to win Tammy back” the synopsis teases. In the promo that aired following the Monday night episode, Waka was seen taking Tammy out on a romantic date. However, despite his kind gesture, Tammy explained that one nice date isn’t going to bring trust back into their relationship and she isn’t sure how to build trust with him.

Waka then suggests that as a first step, Tammy allows him to move back into the house so they can be a family again. Will Tammy let Waka back into the house or will Waka have to find another way to win his wife back?

“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” Season 6, episode 9 airs on Monday at 8 p.m. EDT on VH1.
