“The Librarians” is returning to TNT with an all-new episode this Wednesday night. Based on the promotional clip for the new installment, the gang will find themselves stuck in an evil forest when they decide to go camping.

In a sneak peek at “The Librarians” Season 4, episode 7, titled “…And the Disenchanted Forest,” Eve Baird (Rebecca Romjin) is seen leading the Librarians to a team building camp deep in the forest. The preview starts off on a lively note with the group receiving a warm welcome from other campers.

The Librarians soon find out that many people have vanished in the forest for some strange reason. “People have been vanishing here for over 100 years?” John Kim’s Ezekiel Jones asks in the trailer. This is then followed by scenes depicting the other Librarians running while being attacked by what appears to be moving branches and vines.

In another promotional clip, a guest is seen approaching the camp master/self-help guru, telling the latter, “You have to have an environmental impact study done before you commit to expanding the camp.” However, the camp master is not pleased with the intervention.

The preview also shows Jones riding a zip line to reach the other side of the camp where a very bubbly Cassandra Cillian (Lindy Booth) is waiting. “Wasn’t it great?” Cillian asks Jones once he touches down on the ground. But it seems Jones is not really into camping adventures. “Usually when I’m doing that there are prized jewels for me to steal on the other side. What is the point of all this?” he asks Cillian, who enthusiastically responds, “Camp fun, fun, fun.”

The synopsis of episode 7 reads: “When dissension threatens the group, Baird takes the Librarians to a charismatic self-help guru’s team building camp on the edge of a forest where people have been mysteriously disappearing. Is there a monster in the woods? Or is something more sinister going on? And can the Librarians get their team mojo back in time to defeat it?”

“The Librarians” Season 4, episode 7, “…And the Disenchanted Forest,” is set to air this Wednesday, Jan. 3, at 8 p.m. EST on TNT.
