Man Arrested For Allegedly Raping His Minor Daughter; Girlfriend Filmed The Crime

A 46-year-old man in India has been arrested for allegedly raping his minor daughter while his lover filmed the sexual assault.

The man allegedly took his 16-year-old daughter to a house he rented after abandoning his wife, said police. There, the accused and his girlfriend consumed alcohol and forced the girl to drink it as well. The incident occurred in Markapur, a town in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

While the victim was intoxicated, the man allegedly raped her. “Later, the accused allegedly sexually assaulted the girl even as she resisted. The woman, meanwhile, took photos and videos of the act,’’ officer Malika Garg said to The New India Express.

Two days later, the man allegedly raped his daughter again in the same manner, which the woman recorded. After some time, the girl was able to escape her father’s residence and made her way to her mother’s house.

She informed the mother about the alleged sexual assault. With the help of her mother, the girl filed a complaint with the police on Sept. 25. After investigating the alleged crime, police found several photographs and videos of the crime on the man’s cell phone, the Times Of India reported. Investigators are using the footage as evidence of the crime.

The father was arrested Sunday by a team led by DSP M Kishore Kumar. He was taken into custody and charged with prohibitions specified under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and rape. The accused man worked as a secretary for the local government.

After an initial court appearance, the man is being held in a prison. The woman accused, identified as Kondamma, is still at large.

In a similar incident, a man in Jaipur, India allegedly raped his daughter and strangled her to death when she became pregnant, according to News18. The victim’s mother filed a complaint against her husband after the accused fled the scene.

Last month, a 40-year-old man had been arrested in India after he repeatedly raped his 8-year-old daughter and 7-year-old nephew. The incident came to light after the accused man’s mother caught him forcing himself on his daughter while the other younger child watched in horror.
