A jaw-dropping video of a man carrying a massive 22-foot-long snake on his shoulder and walking around in a zoo has gone viral on social media.

The video, shared by zookeeper Jay Brewer on Instagram, showed him carrying a huge yellow-tinted snake from one room to another.

"When no one is around to help move a 22 foot, 250lb snake. You do it the old fashion way yourself," he captioned the video, which has until now received over 20 million views.

Several people took to the comments section of the post to express their amazement and fear.

"Brave man wow beautiful but deadly!!!" one person wrote.

"Can’t stop watching it!!! This is so cool!!!" wrote another Instagram user.

Some people also suggested the snake was having a "jolly ride."

"She looks like a curious child, what a nice ride," a commentator wrote.

"That is too awesome buddy!! The way that snake is drug around," wrote another user.

"It seems amazingly calm during this jaunt," another user commented.

The species of the snake was, however, not known.

Brewer has over 4 million followers on Instagram and his handle is filled with images and videos of reptiles like snakes and crocodiles.

In June, he shared an incredible video of a Rainbow Reticulated Python.

"Wow, a picture says a thousand words but how much does a video like this say," he captioned the video which showed the snake lying in a box. The video has been viewed over 57 million times.

The same month, he posted another viral video that showed a massive snake attacking him In the face.

"She GOT ME. I take a risk so I can get the babies in the incubator where it’s safe… in this case I had to take one for the team," he captioned the video.
