A man was arrested for allegedly using racist and homophobic slurs against two customers at an In-N-Out Burger in San Ramon, California.

The incident occurred on the night of Christmas Eve when a male and a female diner of Asian descent were eating at the fast-food restaurant located at San Ramon Valley Boulevard, CBS News reported. While the two diners, identified as Arine Kim and Elliot Ha, were filming their dining experience, a man approached them and started making inappropriate comments.

"During their meal, a male suspect approached the victims unprovoked and engaged in a homophobic and racist rant, causing the victims to fear for their safety," San Ramon Police Department said in a press release.

"You're filming yourself eating? You're weird homosexuals," the suspect said behind the camera, according to NBC Bay Area.

While the two diners looked awkward and stunned in the video, the suspect went on to ask them if they were Japanese or Korean. When one of them responded "Korean," the suspect was reportedly heard saying, "That's what I thought. You're Kim Jong Un's boyfriend huh."

The two diners appeared to laugh off the slurs. However, after seconds of back-and-forth between the suspect and the male diner, the former went on to say, "Normally, I could spit on your face," with abusive remarks.

The following video might be disturbing to some viewers.

The video has received millions of views since being shared on TikTok by one of the two victims.

"Elliot and I were shaking and stuttering towards the end of it," Kim told CBS News. "It was a shock, to say the least."

According to the duo, the suspect exited the restaurant after some time and stood outside while staring at them for several minutes. "He was staring us down for 10 to 15 minutes through the window and his gaze never averted from us," Kim recalled.

The man, identified as 40-year-old Jordan Douglas Krah, a resident of Denver, Colorado, was arrested by San Ramon police Monday in connection with the incident.

"Krah was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility on two counts of Committing a Hate Crime," the police said. He was booked into the Contra Costa County Jail in Martinez.

"Thank you to everyone who has helped by providing information associated with the racist and homophobic incidents over the past few days," San Ramon Police Chief Denton Carlson said in a social media post.
