Ron Howard is “proud” of the work his daughter has done for “The Mandalorian” TV series. The director shared some details about the “Star Wars” show in a recent interview in Park City, where he is currently promoting his new documentary “Rebuilding Paradise.”

Ron’s daughter, actress Bryce Dallas Howard, directed one of the episodes in the first season of “The Mandalorian.” In an interview with Collider, Howard said that he gave some advice to his daughter, but she mostly ignored it. He joked that daughters don’t generally listen to their dads.

Bryce directed the fourth episode of the TV series titled “Sanctuary.” Ron admitted that he got to see it early, and said that he is “proud” of the work his daughter has done. He added that Bryce has learned a lot from Jon Favreau, who is the creator of the “Star Wars” TV series, and she was able to do a “great job.”

Ron also had some words of praise for Favreau. The veteran director said that Favreau is “incredibly passionate” about the she show and is “doing great work.”

Filming of “The Mandalorian” Season 2 is currently ongoing. It remains to be seen if Bryce will be returning to the director’s chair.
