New York Comic Con is the place to be if you’re a Marvel fan. The comic book giant will have a big presence at the convention, held at the Javitz Center in Manhattan, this weekend. Whether you’re looking to see a comic book writer or the cast of your favorite superhero TV show, there will be plenty of Marvel panels at NYCC.

THURSDAY

From Black Panther to Miles Morales: In Conversation With Ta-Nehisi Coates & Jason Reynolds (12 p.m., Hudson Mercantile) A conversation with Jason Reynolds (“Miles Morales: Spider-Man”) and National Book Award winner Ta-Nehisi Coates (“Black Panther”).

Marvel Legacy: Breaking into Comics the Marvel Way (12:15 p.m., Room 1A21) Talent Scout Rickey Purdin, Ed Brisson (“Old Man Logan”), Javier Garrón (“Secret Warriors”), Irene Strychalski (“Unbelievable Gwenpool”) and David F. Walker (“Luke Cage”) give aspiring comic book writers and artists advice.

Marvel Legacy: Next Big Thing (2:45 p.m., Room 1A21) Executive Editor Nick Lowe will be discussing upcoming Marvel comics with Ed Brisson (“Iron Fist”), Javier Garrón (“Secret Warriors”), Erica Henderson (“Unbeatable Squirrel Girl”), Matthew Rosenberg (“Punisher”), Rainbow Rowell (“Runaways”) and Charles Soule (“Daredevil”).

Marvel Press Presents: From Panel To Page (4:15 p.m., Room 1A10) Jason Reynolds (“Miles Morales: Spider-Man”) and Ron Smith (“Black Panther: The Young Prince”) discuss taking beloved comic book characters into novels.

“LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2”: Meet the Talent Behind the Videogame (12:15 p.m., Room 1A06) Arthur Parsons (head of design, TT Games), Bill Rosemann (executive creative director, Marvel Games), Justin Ramsden (designer, LEGO) and Kurt Busiek (writer, “Avengers Forever”) give fans the scoop on the new video game.

MARVEL: House of Ideas (1:45 p.m., Room 1A10) Marvel’s Ryan Penagos dishes on Marvel secrets. Live segments for “THWIP! The Big Marvel Show” will also be filmed.

Marvel Legacy: Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends (2:45 p.m., Room 1A24) Executive Editor Nick Lowe, Will Sliney (“Ben Reilly: The Scarlet Spider”), Dan Slott (“Amazing Spider-Man”), Robbie Thompson (“Spider-Man/Deadpool”) and Chip Zdarsky (“Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man”) talk all things Spider-Man.

Celebrating 100 Years of Jack Kirby: The King’s New York (4 p.m., Room 1A02) Expect many surprise Marvel guests at this celebration of Jack Kirby’s work.

“Marvel’s The Punisher” (5:15 p.m., The Theater at Madison Square Garden) Star Jon Bernthal and others join this panel to preview the new Netflix series. Maybe they’ll finally reveal the release date.

Marvel True Believers (1:30 p.m., Room 1A10) Only Marvel Unlimited Plus members and Marvel MasterCard cardholders can get into this session. Executive Editor Nick Lowe, Greg Pak (“Incredible Hulk”), Gabby Rivera (“America”) and Jim Zub (“Uncanny Avengers”) discuss the Marvel universe.
