Meghan Markle doesn't wear red lipstick.

Daniel Martin, the Duchess of Sussex's wedding makeup artist and friend, recently revealed she has been doing her own makeup lately. Martin shared what Markle likes and avoids when it comes to doing her makeup.

"She’s gotten more comfortable doing her own make-up. She loves make-up and she's good at it," Martin said (via Daily Star). "She's been doing her make-up herself. She's not fussy – she's just trying to get it on and get out the door."

However, according to Martin, royal fans won't see Markle in red lipstick anytime soon. The former "Suits" actress is reportedly not comfortable with the shade.

"The one time she did a red lip, she just didn’t feel comfortable with it," the makeup artist explained. "She likes to talk and she's not a fussy person, so she doesn't want to have to worry about anything. They have so many engagements, you have to stick with what you know and feel comfortable and confident and just own it."

Martin added that the Duchess of Sussex preferred a stronger eye and a more defined eyebrow. Lately, she's been using warm colors, but doesn't stray too far from her technique and routine.

Martin was the person behind Markle's no-makeup look on her wedding day. According to him, Prince Harry was so happy with his work that the Duke personally thanked him for making the bride look wonderful on their special day.

"After the ceremony, Harry kept saying thank you," Martin told In Style in its September issue. "He was thanking me for making her look like herself."

Prince Harry caused a frenzy among fans when he met Markle at the altar. The royal prince was caught on cameras biting his lip after telling his bride, "You look amazing."

Martin and Markle have been friends for over a decade. In fact, when he learned that she's marrying a prince, he asked the actress how he should address her.

"I asked her that. 'Do I bow to you? I don't want to disrespect you, but I've known for almost ten years. What's up?'" Martin shared. "She started laughing and she said, 'I'm always going to be Meg. Meg.'"

He and Markle share some great memories together. On Markle's birthday, Martin shared a clip of the duchess devouring raspberries with her fingers. "Happiest of birthdays my friend," he wrote in the caption.
