Meghan Markle’s brother shared their father’s dying wish and apologized for the bad press she has received due to them.

The Duchess of Sussex is not on speaking terms with her family on her dad’s side. In fact, she hasn’t spoken to her father Thomas Markle Sr. since he canceled his attendance on her royal wedding.

Markle’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., is begging the duchess to reach out and call their dad. He also shared their father’s dying wish.

“I think seriously what should happen is that Meghan should actually just seriously get off her high horse, call her father, make amends. The guy dedicated his whole entire life to her – where she is at today is because of him. That is the only reason and I mean enough is enough,” Thomas Jr. told Express. “My dad’s dying wish, he tells me on the phone, is just so he can just make amends and see Archie. And have his daughter back in his life – I mean, we owe him that.”

Thomas Jr. also acknowledged their previous interviews and how it impacted his royal sister. So, he apologized for it and said that there was no instruction booklet how they should have handled it. Nevertheless, he still encouraged Markle to call their father.

“I’m sorry for the last three years of bad press,” he added. “It should have been done differently a long time ago and she could have had a big decision in that. Reached out a little bit more and we would probably have a better time right now.”

Thomas Jr. said that their father has only got a few good years left and when he talked to him over the phone, he was already in a point when he didn’t really care if Markle would come back or not. Markle Sr. was reportedly very frustrated and just wanted to enjoy the rest of his life.

In Thomas Sr.’s interview earlier this year, he admitted that he was embarrassed with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s decision to step back from their royal roles. He felt that they hurt Queen Elizabeth II by doing. He said that the two knew what they were getting themselves into and it wasn’t new for them. Prince Harry grew up as a royal and Markle had a similar kind of life as a celebrity.

Thomas Sr. also challenged Prince Harry to “man up” and see him. Markle’s dad said that he would be happy to duel with his son-in-law anytime.
