Melania Trump is very active in numerous campaigns promoting the well-being -- including the social, emotional and physical health -- of children. However, despite her endless efforts to uplift the lives of the American kids, Melania remains to be one of the most criticized personalities working under the Trump administration. There were even those who claimed that the former model is the “least active” First Lady in the history of the United States.

Recently, Melania took to social media to share about her recent visit at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling to participate in the annual Marine Toys for Tots program. “For nearly seven decades @ToysForTots_USA and the @USMC have been dedicated to ensuring that all children have a toy under the #Christmas tree. Today I was joined by military families to support this effort and spread holiday cheer within our community!” Melania posted on Twitter together with some snaps during the event.

Avid supporters of the FLOTUS commended her for always participating in programs that help children in need. “As someone who went one Christmas with no toys, or tree, this really touches my heart and it matters GREATLY, more than most know. Thank You and we LOVE you FLOTUS!! #BeBest,” one netizen said. “@FLOTUS You are the personification of beauty and grace. Best wishes to you and your family this Holiday Season,” another Twitter user said.

Faultfinders, however, were quick to attack Melania Trump after she shared the snaps on Twitter. One critic even described the wife of President Donald Trump as the “least active and sincere” FLOTUS ever. To recall, this is not the first time that Melania was rated as the most inactive presidential wife in history.

In October, Political Flare reported Lauren Wright of Princeton University stated that Melania would “qualify as probably the least active First Lady” since she only made a total of eight speeches during her first year of being the FLOTUS. Michelle Obama, reportedly, made 74 in 2009.

Melania Trump was also criticized for ignoring the invitations of the media for interviews. There were even individuals who claimed that the FLOTUS should make herself available to the press since she is the female face of the current administration. "She happens to be the representative of the Trump administration, whose modus operandi is lying and bullying, two of the biggest, most basic lessons we teach children to avoid in life," Adam Pincus, who has a daughter in United Nations International School kindergarten, told The Washington Post.

Melania Trump has yet to comment on these remarks.
