A couple of UFO experts claimed that a photo taken by NASA’s Apollo 17 mission captured a triangular alien vessel flying near the command module. Based on the photo, the object could be the famous black knight satellite that UFO conspiracy theorists have been talking about.

NASA officially launched the Apollo 17 mission on Dec. 7, 1972. It was the last mission of the Apollo program. It also currently serves as the last time humans traveled outside low-Earth orbit.

The latest claims regarding the appearance of an alleged alien object in an Apollo 17 photo were made by the YouTube channel Terry’s Theories. According to Terry, the channel’s owner, he came across the image while browsing through NASA’s archive photos from its Apollo program.

In one of the photos, Terry spotted a strange object hovering outside Earth. Based on the image, the object had a dark color and a very distinct triangular shape. Terry noted that the object could be an alien vessel.

“These photos that I am showing you were taken by these astronauts & these photos also show triangular-shaped objects in the background in a low earth orbit,” Terry stated. “Now I ask you, are we looking at maybe something that we weren't meant to see. Were these crafts, UFOs, UAPs whatever you want to call them caught on film by accident 43 years ago?”

Scott Waring of ET Data Base recently shared Terry’s video on his blog and said that based on the photo, it seems the object was flying close to the Apollo 17 command module.

“The triangle UFO appears to be very close to the Apollo module,” Waring stated in a blog post. “I would estimate that the UFO is 800 meters away at the most. In the screenshot below you can see the triangle UFO moving away, cutting a trail through the clouds as it moves.”

Based on the image, the strange object closely resembles the black knight satellite. According to conspiracy theorists, a spacecraft that is of extraterrestrial origin orbits Earth. Supporters of the theory believe that NASA is fully aware of the existence of the satellite.

The space agency, on the other hand, maintains that the idea behind the black knight satellite is just a piece of space junk floating in low-Earth orbit.
