Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle's viral gay wedding photos were funny and entertaining for some, but not everyone felt the same.

Twitter user Elizabeth Saw Amatw? recently shared an edited image of the Duchess of Sussex and Duchess of Cambridge's royal wedding photos. In the photoshopped snap she shared on Twitter, Middleton and Markle are both in their wedding dresses and are holding hands as if they just married each other.

The social media user said she knew that some might find the image offensive, so she took to Twitter again to remind everyone that her work was meant only as a joke. "This was made in good fun so don't take it too seriously. that being said, if you don't like it, twitter has a mute words feature for a reason," she wrote.

As expected, some netizen took it against her. Two users commented on her post and showed their displeasure at her art.

"Yeah, no you still don't have the right to use pictures of real people for [expletive] like this," Mr.Gamer commented.

"What am i supposed to mute to protect my eyes from this," Twitter user reily wrote.

Meanwhile, Hello! commented on Elizabeth's post and asked her if they could use the viral photo with full credit. The artist declined because she knew that others would definitely find it offensive.

"I'm sorry, I'd prefer if you didn't use it, simply because I'm sure people would take it way too seriously if you did, but thank you for asking," Elizabeth replied.

Meanwhile, other users reminded Elizabeth to be careful. "Girl, someone made a viral tweet about them and now her account is deleted... I'll make sure to add you in my prayers," Ana wrote.

In related news, Middleton and Markle were last seen together at Wimbledon where they watched the women's final. During the sighting, the rapport between the two was visible. In fact, according to an expert, there was no rivalry as Markle let her sister-in-law lead.

"She very much let Kate take the lead," Mark Stewart said, "There was no rivalry. It shows how well Meghan has adapted as she is aware that Kate will be Queen one day and her position is different."
