  • Snowfight will be like Gunfight On Site Procurement

Despite how realistic “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” may be, their latest weekly update will bring some holiday cheers to its players.

The game's Update 1.12 will include a new Gunfight mode where players can duke it out using snowballs. You heard it right, folks: you can eliminate an opponent just by throwing snowballs at them.

Game Rant described this “seasonal variant” as a something that came out of the Gunfight OSP, or On Site Procurement. What this means is that players need to stack snowballs from piles scattered around the new Winter Docks map. Once they have collected enough, they can use these like throwing knives and transform the battlefield into one “deadly snowball fight."

The outlet added that players won't have access to guns in the first round. Once the round is over, they can now use guns, but they can still collect snowballs to add to their arsenal. The Snowfight will not replace Gunfight, though, but it's just been added to celebrate Christmas as an “additional feature.

Alongside Snowfight, the latest update of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” will also debut Drop Zone for standard Multiplayer. Both are now available until December 31st.

Activision also threw in Double XP and Double Tier earn rates which will run until December 27.
