A week removed from their best offensive game of the season resulting in a loss, the Oakland Raiders face the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday afternoon at O.co Coliseum.

Oakland outgained the undefeated Atlanta Falcons and picked off MVP candidate Matt Ryan three times, but still fell 23-20 on a 55-yard field goal by kicker Matt Bryant in the final second of play.

Carson Palmer threw for 353 yards and a touchdown, and his lone interception was returned for a 79-yard score by Atlanta’s Asante Samuel with 2:40 remaining in the game.

Palmer and running back Darren McFadden responded with an eight-play 80-yard drive, capped by McFadden’s two-yard rushing score to tie. Ryan countered by going 43 yards in 38 seconds, and Atlanta prevailed.

McFadden garnered 70 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries, and second-year receiver Denarius Moore had five catches for 104 yards and a 25-yard touchdown.

The Raiders defense didn’t record an interception until facing Atlanta, and kept Ryan to his lowest passer rating in 10 games dating back to last season.

If that performance is a sign of things to come for Oakland, lowly Jacksonville may still be searching for their second win of the season next week.

Before their bye, the Jaguars suffered a crushing 41-3 loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 5, capped by two interceptions returned for scores by Chicago's Charles Tillman and Lance Briggs.

Jacksonville gained only 189 total yards and gave up 501 yards, and quarterback Blaine Gabbert posted his worse game of the season, going 17-for-33 with two interceptions and a rating of 37.7, the second lowest in his 20 games as a professional.

The Bears defense held Maurice Jones-Drew to 56 rushing yards on 12 carries. The NFL’s leading rusher last season, Jones-Drew has reached the end zone once this season.

Jacksonville’s offense will continue to struggle with receiver Laurent Robinson out this week due to a concussion, and the defense will get less pressure on Palmer with linebacker Daryl Smith also listed as out.

The game begins at 4:25 p.m. EDT and will be shown by FOX, or watch a live stream online by purchasing NFL Sunday Ticket Max.
