The much-hyped bidding war to have their brand appear on “Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout” has ended with a team-up emerging as victors.

Twitch streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins joined G2 Esports, Aim Lab, and YouTuber MrBeast for the winning bid of $1 million, Engadget reports. That amount will be donated to SpecialEffect, a U.K.-based charity that helps people with physical disabilities to experience video games.

Mediatonic, developers of “Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout,” announced the competition on Aug. 17, a mere two weeks after the game was released and immediately blew up in popularity. “The thirst from brands has been unreal... so we’re turning it into something positive,” the studio said at the time.

Mediatonic promised to add a skin to Fall Guys representing the brand that was willing to donate the most amount of money to SpecialEffect. Initial bids came in the tens of thousands of dollars, but things quickly escalated.

At one point, “Warframe” developer Digital Extremes pledged $20,000. Prior to Ninja and his team coming in, the leading bid was $510,000. With this victory, each of the four contributors will get their own skin added to “Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout.”

This has already been a busy couple of months for Blevins. After making a name for himself streaming while playing “Fortnite,” he left Twitch in 2019 to join Microsoft-owned Mixer for an exclusive deal reportedly between $20 million to $30 million. Ninja was expected to lead a new wave of streamers to Mixer.

Instead, Microsoft shut Mixer down this year and directed their streamers to move to Facebook Gaming. Blevins then began streaming on YouTube in July, fueling rumors of moving to that platform. A few weeks later, it was reported that instead, Ninja had come home to his original platform of Twitch.

Ninja’s first new Twitch stream was a “Fortnite” match with fellow streamer Dr Lupo and attracted 96,000 concurrent views.

This will not be Blevins’ first time as an in-game skin as Epic Games previously added his likeness to “Fortnite.” It is not yet known when this four-entity team will appear in “Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout,” but the skin could arrive together with the title’s second season.
