We’re still 17 months away from the release of “Ocean’s Eight” but new information about the film is slowly starting to be revealed.

After catching glimpses of the stars of the upcoming film behind the scenes, Warner Bros. has released the first official photo of the cast. Featuring Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Sarah Paulson, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling and Awkwafina, the women star as a team of thieves hoping to steal a necklace from the Met Gala and frame a gallery owner, played by Damien Lewis. Ahead of the film’s 2018 release, check out everything we know so far:

1. The film is a spinoff of the “Ocean’s” trilogy. Following the release of 2007’s “Ocean’s Thirteen,” director Steven Soderbergh revealed there wouldn’t be a sequel because George Clooney wanted to “go out strong” with the third film. With a fourth film out of the question, a spinoff with an all-female cast went into development in 2015.

2. Sandra Bullock’s character is the sister of Clooney’s character. In the upcoming film, Bullock plays Debbie Ocean, the leader of the group and the sister of Danny Ocean, from the previous films.

3. Matt Damon will reprise his role. While no other stars from the previous film have been announced for roles in the upcoming movie, Damon will reprise his role as Linus Caldwell. It’s unknown what role Damon’s character will play in the film.

4. George Clooney is producing. Although he won’t appear in the movie (as far as we know), Clooney and Soderbergh will produce the film.

5. The movie will be out in the summer. It’s going to be awhile until we get to see the “Ocean’s Eight” cast attempt a heist. The film won’t be in theaters until June 8, 2018. No word on when a trailer will be released.

6. “The Hunger Games” director is behind the film. Gary Ross, who directed the first “Hunger Games” film, is the man behind “Ocean’s Eight.” According to Ross, you can expect the new film to have a “similar tone” to the previous movies.
