The Season 4 premiere of “Once Upon a Time” is only a few weeks away, but fans can get another taste of the upcoming fairytale drama thanks to star Jennifer Morrison. The 35-year-old actress took to Twitter to share not only a look at her character, Emma Swan, but a peek at some of her magical co-stars.

“Night shoot with these ladies,” Jennifer Morrison posted on Thursday. The text accompanied a photo of Morrison in character as Emma Swan, along with Lana Parrilla (the Evil Queen/ Regina), Georgina Haig (new “Frozen” addition Elsa) and Elizabeth Mitchell ( a mysterious new character).

The women of “Once Upon a Time” appear to be in character, with a little bit of Elsa’s signature blonde braid and sparkly dress visible in the photo. Fans can also make out the outline of Mitchell’s potential fairytale gown.

As we previously reported, little is known about “Lost” alum Elizabeth Mitchell’s new role in Season 4 of “Once Upon a Time.” When Entertainment Weekly announced her casting, the site teased that she would be part of the “Frozen” tory arc on the hit ABC series, and that she could potentially be playing a villainous role in events that occurred after the 2014 Disney animated film. TV Line seemed to enforce the idea that Mitchell would be joining the series as a villain when they teased that co-creator Edward Kitsis sarcastically told them, “We never bring ‘Lost’ actors on our show to be villains, so …” Fans will remember that “Lost” alum Jorge Garcia played The Giant and Rebecca Mader played the Wicked Witch” in the “Wizard of Oz” story arc. Meanwhile Naveen Andrews portrayed Jafar in the ill-fated “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland” spinoff.

It sounds like Elizabeth Mitchell’s character could end up being buddies with Lana Parrilla’s Regina, but Jennifer Morrison’s photo might be the first look at a potential friendship between Emma Swan and Elsa. Entertainment Tonight reports that Emma and Elsa are going to be a “pair of blonde besties.”

“I would be very upset if they didn’t Bond,” Kitsis told ET. “They have so much in common!”

"Once Upon a Time" returns to ABC for its fourth season on Sunday, Sept. 28, at 8 p.m. EDT. What do you think of the behind-the-scenes photo from Season 4 of “Once Upon a Time”? Tweet your thoughts to @AmandaTVScoop.
