In a recent Instagram post, singer Pink revealed that both she and her 3-year-old son, Jameson, had tested positive for COVID-19. After receiving the news, the "Walk Me Home" musician opted to shelter in place with her family based on her doctor's suggestion. After doing so, each of them eventually received a negative result for the coronavirus.

In her photo caption, Pink, 40, not only shared that she believes the illness is "serious and real" but that the virus can affect people of any age or class. She then revealed that she was donating $500K to the Temple University Hospital Emergency Fund and $500K to the City of Los Angeles Mayor's Emergency COVID-19 Crisis Fund. Her post can be seen below.

This would not be the only time that Pink, whose real name is Alecia Moore, would speak out about the ongoing pandemic.

She then discussed what she had privately been dealing with during a recent Instagram Live with author Jen Pastiloff. After stating that both she and her son had been "really, really sick," she then opened up about the day-to-day experiences the two had experienced in the previous weeks and shared a health update.

"He’s [Jameson] been really really sick, it’s been really really scary and it’s been really up and down and I’ve been on nebulizers for the first time in 30 years and that’s been really scary for me," she told Pastiloff during their Live, later adding, "I’m hoping we are out of the woods but this thing is a rollercoaster. Just when you think you are better, something else happens." Their full conversation can be seen below.

Pink has not been the only celebrity in recent months to be personally affected by COVID-19. CNN host Chris Cuomo and actor Tom Hanks also received positive results after being tested for the novel coronavirus. The recent outbreak has also created a series of rumors, including a specific one about a "Harry Potter" star that was subsequently debunked.
