Prince William has been scaring the royal aides since he was 10 years old due to his future role.

The palace staff has been scared of Prince William ever since he was a kid. According to Andrew Morton in his 2011 book “William and Catherine,” the Duke of Cambridge’s high-handed behavior reportedly alarmed the aides.

“Even when William was aged ten people were scared of him,” Morton wrote. “He knew from a very early age that he could have what he wanted.”

The royal biographer revealed that Prince William was becoming an assertive youth who knew his own mind and imposed his will in the palace and dealing with the royal prince getting his own way was a major part of their job.

“This was more than just the sly skill of children who have learned to manipulate two warring parents to gain advantage for themselves,” he continued.

“William’s unique position as future King gave him authority from an early age.”

Morton was referring to the privilege and extravagance that come along with Prince William’s duty and obligation as the future king. At the time, Kate Middleton’s husband was both irritated and confused by the debate surrounding his future role and at the same time he was troubled.

According to Morton, one courtier said that Prince William acted a lot older than his age and the past years he was seeing “a lot of his father in him,” which wasn’t the case before.

In related news, Prince Charles is not as popular as Prince William and Prince Harry. Netizens have different opinions about this. Some believe that this was due to his infidelity with Princess Diana. Others think that many are more interested in Prince Charles’s sons because they are younger.

The majority of the Brits prefer the Duke of Cambridge to reign after Queen Elizabeth II. However, according to Charlie Proctor, editor of Royal Central, the monarchy is not a popularity contest, so Prince Charles will take over the throne come what may.

Last month, National Enquirer published a report claiming that Queen Elizabeth II intends to abdicate before the year ends and she is making a “bold move” by picking her grandson to take over the throne after her. But one should take the report with a grain of salt since the Queen doesn’t have the power to choose her heir.
