Princess Diana humiliated Prince Charles by using the media against him and Camilla Parker Bowles.

In the 2013 Amazon Prime documentary titled “Royalty Close Up: The Photography of Kent Gavin,” Piers Morgan recalled how the late Princess of Wales manipulated the media to her advantage. Prince William and Prince Harry’s mom reportedly used the press against her husband and his alleged mistress and now wife, Camilla.

“Diana would definitely play games with the media,” Morgan recalled.

“I remember a classic case of her when Prince Charles had a coming out party for his relationship with Camilla Parker Bowles, and Diana was in St Tropez with Mohamed al-Fayed and others. And we got a message – ‘Will you be there tomorrow at 9am by this beach?’ Yes, why?’ ‘Wait and see!’”

According to Morgan, the following day, Princess Diana came out and started cartwheeling across the beach. The royal mother was only wearing a leopard-print one-piece swimsuit and his photos made headlines around the world.

“It was 1-0 to Diana,” Morgan said.

Princess Diana reportedly did it after learning that the heir apparent and Camilla were having a “coming out” party for their relationship. It was believed that Princess Diana was upset because she was suffering from the future king’s infidelity.

It was reportedly not the first time Princess Diana used the media against Prince Charles. When the royal couple visited India, the People’s Princess was upset when her then-husband that opted to visit Bangalore instead of joining her in Taj Mahal.

Princess Diana posted for a photo outside the mausoleum looking lonely. According to royal biographer Anthony Holden, the late royal “consciously used the press photographers.”

“Particularly that famous picture of her alone and looking miserable outside the Taj Mahal was a postcard home to the general public to say: ‘I’m not happy in this marriage, there are three people,’” Holden said.

Meanwhile, Princess Diana’s fans have learned to appreciate Prince Charles and Camilla’s relationship. The future king and queen consort shared a clip of their highlight in the past decade and one confessed that she is a fan of Princess Diana but adores the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall.
