Warner Bros. Television has fired back at former “Batwoman” star Ruby Rose after the actress claimed she was forced to work in unsafe conditions and experienced personal misconduct during her time on The CW show.

On Wednesday, Rose took to her Instagram Story to detail some of her experiences on set, including injuries sustained by crew members and her onset injury, which required surgery to repair two herniated discs.

“I have enough documentation to make a 1 hour documentary,” Rose wrote. “What else would you like me to share, the broken neck or the broken rib split in two and the tumor?”

Following her surgery, Rose claimed Warner Bros. Television Studios President Peter Roth threatened to recast her if she didn’t return to work. “Imagine going back to work 10 days after this,” she wrote.

However, Warner Bros. Television released a statement refuting Rose’s allegations and instead suggested she was difficult to work with, which lead to her termination.

“Despite the revisionist history that Ruby Rose is now sharing online aimed at the producers, the cast and crew, the network, and the Studio, the truth is that Warner Bros. Television had decided not to exercise its option to engage Ruby for season two of Batwoman based on multiple complaints about workplace behavior that were extensively reviewed and handled privately out of respect for all concerned,” the statement read.

Rose also claimed her co-star Dougray Scott, who played her on-screen father, was “a nightmare” to work with and “hurt a female stunt double.”

Ultimately, Rose revealed the toxic environment ruined her experience on the show, which she alluded to being ousted from.

“I do not quit,” she wrote. “They ruined Kate Kane and they destroyed Batwoman, not me. I followed orders, and if I wanted to stay I was going to have to sign my rights away. Any threats, any bullying tactics, or blackmail will not make me stand down.”

Rose announced her departure from “Batwoman” in May 2020. Her role has since been recast with Wallis Day becoming the new Kate Kane.
