‘Scorpion’
Paige (Katharine McPhee) does not like getting no for an answer in “Scorpion” Season 4, episode 3. CBS

Paige (Katharine McPhee) and Walter (Elyes Gable) will still be together in “Scorpion” Season 4, episode 3. But the two have to make tough calls if they want to share more intimate moments.

In the sneak peek released by CBS for episode 3, Team Scorpion finds a pregnant deer shot and lying in the middle of the desert. Sylvester (Ari Stidham) panics at the sight of the poor animal who is obviously struggling to survive. Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas) and Paige are interested in saving the deer, but Walter think it’s impossible that she will survive.

When Walter asks everyone to just leave the deer behind, Paige takes a stand and tells her that they wouldn’t follow his orders. Paige stresses the fact that they could save the deer and tells Walter that she will never get naked in front of him ever again if he doesn’t oblige. Walter hilariously tells Toby, Sylvester and Happy (Jadyn Wong) to make sure that the deer and her fawn wouldn’t die.

Elsewhere in the episode, titled “Grow a Deer, a Female Deer,” Toby and Happy would have a conversation about starting their own family. The married couple will realize how sad it must be to get pregnant and then possibly lose your child just like what could happen to the deer.

In May, “Scorpion” executive producer Nick Santora told TV Line that the next step for Happy and Toby is to have kids. “Like all things, the answers can be found in elementary school: First come loves, then comes marriage, the comes something in a baby carriage,” he said.

At that time, “Scorpion” was still on its third season, and Santora said that he’s in no rush to write a pregnancy storyline for Happy. But this is bound to happen as part of “the natural progression” of things for any married couple. “One of my favorite speeches of the season was when Happy said she always wanted to wait outside the school for her kid. She still wants that, and Toby wants that,” he said.

“Scorpion” Season 4, episode 3 will air on Monday at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
