Colette Butler has returned to YouTube nearly seven months after she and husband Shay Carl Butler disappeared from the video-sharing site that brought them to fame. And while thousands of Colette’s subscribers have made it clear they’re thrilled to see her return, one viewer isn’t fond of her comeback.

Shay Carl’s former cam girl, Aria Nina, who exposed her alleged online romance with the YouTube vlogger in February, resulting in the family’s internet leave, responded to Colette’s latest video on social media and her review wasn’t kind.

When asked by a fan on Twitter to share her thoughts on Colette’s first video in over a year on her Katilette channel, Aria called the footage “fake” and “pathetic.” Aria also had something to say when Shay returned to social media last month.

In the video posted Sept. 29, titled “Letting a Dream Die,” Colette discussed having to put aside a dream in order to accept her life in its current state.

“When we left YouTube, it was crazy. Things were happening. We were planning on leaving anyway in March, for awhile, at least quitting the Shaytards channel, letting the kids take a break, but stuff happened. And life happened, and we had to leave,” Colette said, commenting on her husband’s issues with alcohol abuse.

“Life happens. It’s been hard. Our relationship’s been messy. Our lives have been messy and that’s just the truth of it and I’m not afraid of that.”

While Colette has not publicly responded to Aria’s comment, she has revealed she wasn’t entirely thrilled with the comments she received on her comeback video. Three days after posting her sit-down, Colette took to Twitter to vent about her frustrations with commenters.

While not everyone is in thrilled by Colette’s new video, there’s no denying its been highly-viewed among fans of the Butler clan. Colette’s latest post has over 1.7 million views, almost 20K comments and over 89k thumbs up.

Colette’s Katilette channel comeback comes alongside her return to her other popular YouTube channel – and no, we’re not talking about the Shaytards vlogs.

On Oct. 2, Colette appeared in her first episode of The Mom’s View in several months alongside her sister-in-laws Kayli Butler and Carlie Woods. In the video, the trio revealed their plans to continue the web series by posting three episodes weekly. Colette also dished about her healing process and her plans to release an album during the installment.

Shay and Colette disappeared from YouTube in February. At the time, Aria had exposed her alleged online romance with Shay on Twitter by posting photos of their sexual messages. Shay reportedly confirmed the validity of the message to fellow YouTuber Keemstar. Shay did not comment on the allegations but did reveal he was suffering from alcoholism and would be seeking treatment with Colette by his side.

Since the scandal, Aria has continued to talk about Shay and his family online and has even teased a possible vlogging career.
