The recent actions of the Shiba Inu pseudonymous lead developer Shytoshi Kusama have triggered speculations within the community that the development team is currently testing the highly anticipated project, ShibaSwap 2.0.

After changing their Twitter bio to "Focused on Shibarium" on Nov. 14, Kusama changed it again Tuesday, but this time with only a couple of letters, "UX." The pseudonymous lead developer's latest action was noticed by the former Shiba Inu Growth Breed member and social media influencer who goes by the Twitter handle @LucieSHIB, who explained what the two-letter word might represent.

"What is UX in software," the Twitter user asked. "User experience (abbreviated as UX) is how a person feels when interfacing with a system. The system could be a website, a web application or desktop software and, in modern contexts, is generally denoted by some form of human-computer interaction," the user explained.

Another Shib Army who goes by the Twitter handle @benny7579 shared an interesting theory about Kusama's latest actions. The user referred to the lead developer's tweet on Nov. 17 and the recent change in their Twitter bio as hints that they could be talking about ShibaSwap 2.0.

"Initial design approved. Now I can double down. Let the debris show itself as the flow of kindness and truth washes over the world," Kusama tweeted last week. And while many members of the community think the tweet has something to do with Shibarium, the Twitter user believed otherwise.

The Twitter user believed that Kusama could be referring to the CEX when they mentioned in the tweet the word "debris," which has recently seen retail investors leaving en masse.

"Many in #SHIBARMY believe this tweet refers to the launch of #Shibarium. I believe it refers to #SHIBASWAP 2.0. Double Down' with the debris of Cex's being replaced by Dex's such as ours, and #SHIBASWAP being available WORLDWIDE on play stores," the user argued.

"The change in biography for @ShytoshiKusama further reinforces my belief that he is referring to #SHIBASWAP rather than #Shibarium," the user further said.

It is worth noting that the Shiba Inu development team, aside from the recent update provided by the core team member who goes by the Twitter handle @initializable, has not yet offered any details related to the new version of ShibaSwap.

Launched in July 2021, ShibaSwap is the decentralized exchange created by the Shiba Inu pseudonymous creator Ryoshi. Launching the new version of the DEX, which is the ShibaSwap 2.0, at a time when retail investors have lost faith in centralized crypto exchanges could be an interesting move for the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
