Harvey (Gabriel Macht) is still honoring the terms of his agreement with Mike (Patrick J. Adams).

In a sneak peek from tonight’s Season 7, episode 4 of “Suits,” Harvey visits Mike in his office to make up with him after Harvey ordered Mike to drop the pro bono case he was working on last episode.

“I’m here to give you this,” Harvey tells Mike after putting a folder of files on his table. “It’s my way of saying thanks.”

“Harvey, I dropped the suit because you asked me to. You don’t have to give me anything in return,” replies Mike.

But at Harvey’s insistence, Mike opens the folder and finds out that it’s actually a new pro bono case.

“I figured you didn’t get to complete you’re ‘one for you’ this time, so it’s only fair,” Harvey explains of his gesture of giving Mike a new pro bono case. “Seriously, Mike I know how hard that was for you and I don’t want there to be a bad blood between you and Alex (Dulé Hill).”

When Mike says that he doesn’t have any problem with Alex, Harvey asks him if he’s sure, and Mike confirms that things are well between him and PSL’s newest senior partner.

In last week’s Season 7, episode 3, Mike discovered that his client’s convict son died because the prison was understaffed. Although that convinced Mike that they could win a case against the prison, he wasn’t able to work on the case himself because Alex asked Harvey to pull Mike off of the case because it had conflicts with one of Alex’s clients. Despite the “one for you, one for me” deal he made with Mike earlier last season, Harvey went against his word and forced Mike to drop the case.

But because the case was very close to his heart, Mike decided to pass it off to Oliver (Jordan Johnson-Hinds). This move, however, also pissed Harvey off because Alex’s client knows that Mike is connected to the legal clinic where Oliver works. To fix the issue, Harvey made Mike sign a document saying that he had nothing to do with the clinic’s lawsuit against the prison.

At the end of the episode, Mike and Alex finally met. Mike gave Alex a list of the next 15 pro bono cases he plans on taking to make sure that they never find themselves in the same position again. It turned out that Alex was also upset by what happened, telling Mike that he had already told his client not to put him in the same spot again in the future. When everything was said and done, Mike and Alex seemingly realized that neither one of them had bad intentions towards the other.

Also in tonight’s episode, Bratton Gould comes after Pearson Specter Litt (PSL). According to the synopsis for the episode, Harvey, Louis (Rick Hoffman) and Donna (Sarah Rafferty) must get on the same page immediately when Bratton Gould seemingly threatens to file a lawsuit against PSL for poaching Alex.

“Suits” Season 7, episode 4, titled “Divide and Conquer,” airs tonight at 9 p.m. EDT on USA Network.
