Tom Cruise was spotted for the first time since photos of him at a baseball game went viral and sparked rumors he had undergone cosmetic surgery.

The "Mission: Impossible" star, 59, looked noticeably less puffy in new photos of him obtained by the New York Post's Page Six when he touched down in Los Angeles Wednesday. Cruise sported a black sweater and baseball cap as he took a moment to hydrate after landing.

Cruise was also photographed putting on a mask as he exited the plane, apparently ditching his sweater as he sported a blue T-shirt and jeans.

The "Top Gun" star later donned a leather jacket and zipped away from the tarmac on a red motorcycle.

Cruise made headlines last weekend when photos of him watching a baseball game with his 26-year-old son Connor — whom he shares with ex-wife Nicole Kidman — surfaced on social media and quickly went viral.

The actor looked unrecognizable while attending Game 2 of the National League Division Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants at San Francisco's Oracle Park.

His photos sparked confusion online, with some speculating that it was an impersonator while others suggested he may have undergone a cosmetic procedure that didn't turn out well.

"@TomCruise What have you done to your gorgeous face?!!!! I was soooo disappointed when I saw you in the stands at the Dodgers game! STOP putting crap into your face please!!!!" one fan tweeted.

"What’s up with the bloated chipmunk cheeks?" another wrote.

However, other social media users came to his defense, saying his changing appearance was likely due to getting older or even gaining weight.

"You're seeing the real-life 59-year-old aging Tom, not the 'reel' life enhanced Tom," one Twitter user commented.

"Listen, I don’t like Tom Cruise at all (AT ALL), but I’m seriously sick of Twitter trashing people for their weight fluctuations. People are allowed to gain and lose weight, and it’s really nunya!!! Stop being fatphobic!" another netizen wrote.

Page Six collected several photos of Cruise to show his transformation over the years. According to the outlet, he has noticeably changed his hair and wardrobe, but there are subtle facial changes too.

This was not the first time that Cruise's shifting look had made headlines. He was described as looking "inflated," "bloated" and "frozen" by social media users when he attended the 2016 BAFTA Film Awards in London.
