Shytoshi Kusama, the pseudonymous lead developer of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, is cleaning up the community by purging the Breeds ahead of the imminent launch of the hotly anticipated Beta version of Shibarium.

Kusama surprised the Shib Army over the weekend when they shared a new Telegram channel for the community, with some thinking that it could be a preparation for the launch of Shibarium, especially when the lead developer said that the channel would "remain without speech until Shibarium is released."

But, it turned out it is more than that as Kusama burned the Shiba Inu official Discord, dissolved the Breeds, or the team assigned to support the developers within the community, and fired multiple admins and moderators, who, in return, did not take the move sitting down.

Trophias, who is the former co-lead of the Shiba Inu Defense team, said on Discord that the reason behind Kusama's move to disable the "Defense team [is] because we found out exactly what he's doing."

He also accused Kusama of destroying the term decentralization by doing a "hostile takeover" of the ecosystem and claimed he has "all the proof" for it.

"The term decentralization has been destroyed under the command of Shytoshi. He has taken over the ecosystem as a hostile takeover. I have all the proof," Trophias said, as per the Discord screenshots making rounds online.

A Twitter user who goes by the handle @ShibaKraken, also a core staff of the official Shibatoken Discord and a member of both the Growth and Defense team, echoed Trophias' claims and alleged that Kusama "attempted a hostile takeover of the SHIB community. Many core members have now been removed from the 'new group'. I'm not sure what comes next, but I will not be joining Shytoshis new group."

Kraken also claimed that Kusama is not a developer and has nothing to do with Shibarium. "He's not even a developer. Let this be clear.. SHYTOSHI HAS NOTHING to do with Shibarium."

International Business Times reached out to Trophias to get his side of the story and will update this story as soon as we hear from him.

The issue, based on screenshots making rounds online, is that some members felt the onboarding of different projects and the Shibarium structure that Kusama wanted could threaten their position in the ecosystem, which resulted in the heated argument on Discord and their eventual removal from the team.

Kusama, however, made it clear to Trophias why he was let go, citing "countless complaints on your attitude and methodology and decided I am not going to tolerate it."

Several sources familiar with the issue previously predicted that it is just a matter of time until Trophias would be removed from his post since multiple members left the team in the past because of his attitude.

Pawzone founder, who uses the Twitter handle @jds_updates, alleged that "many people left in the past because of Trophias and the breeds" and noted that "Trophias was the one keeping us divided and I'm glad he is finally out of the picture. We are all better off for it."

Amid the FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt), Kusama thanked everyone and encouraged the Shib Army to move forward as a decentralized unit with Shibarium reorganization and strategy and emphasized the importance of the structure since it will help the community "enforce policies, a code of conduct and much more great things for us on the horizon."
