Valorant - Harbor reveal
Harbor, Valorant's water-bending 21st agent Riot Games

KEY POINTS

  • Harbor is a Controller with abilities that can disrupt and slow down enemy advances
  • Harbor can place damage-blocking bubbles of water
  • Previous leaks coincide with Harbor's abilities shown in his cinematic

Agent 21's identity has finally been revealed, and it seems like the information that was previously leaked into the internet now has a higher chance of being officially included in "Valorant."

Harbor is coming to the game as the latest member of its roster of unique individuals. Not much is known about him just yet apart from the fact that he can control water to some degree, as made apparent in his announcement art and the short snippets that Riot has been sharing on its Twitter account.

"Valorant's" developers have also released Harbor's intro cinematic, which gives players a glimpse of both his background and abilities.

So far, the official media seem to coincide with previously leaked information about Harbor's abilities, as listed in this old Reddit post from August. It's also confirmed that Harbor will be a Controller agent who focuses on slicing angles and manipulating enemy movement.

Harbor Leaked Abilities

  • Tartarus Pit – Fires a crippling shot to damage and slow down enemies in an area
  • Bubble – Harbor enters a phase state to place a bubble on terrain. Press the ability again to activate the bubble and block all incoming damage
  • Vision Taker – Launches a Distortion Wall along a line that briefly blinds targets that walk through
  • Golem (Ultimate) – Spawns a golem doll that heals allies and decays enemies. The effect ends when the golem is destroyed or after a set duration

Take note that these are unconfirmed. However, it's worth noting that Harbor's cinematic hints that some of these abilities may make it to the agent's final version. The Bubble and Vision Taker abilities, in particular, are very apparent in the cinematic.

Based on the video, he also has the ability to launch a wave of water toward enemies and create a pool that has some sort of effect against enemies.

Whether or not these are altered versions of Golem and Tartarus Pit is hard to tell, but fans won't have to wait long until his entire kit is officially revealed now that his character intro has been released to the public.

Players can expect the usual array of new cosmetics to arrive alongside Harbor when he is added to the game in the near future, which may include his unique-looking Sheriff.
