• An eyewitness shared a video of an alleged UFO spotted in North Carolina
  • The alleged UFO appeared "brighter than the Moon"
  • UFO expert Scott Waring said the object rotated like a wheel

An eyewitness from North Carolina claimed to have captured a video of a UFO flying over mountains in the region on Monday. After viewing the clip, a UFO expert believes the strange object rotates like a wheel.

The UFO sighting was filmed by Shane Smith, who uploaded the clip to YouTube. According to Smith, he was in the mountains of North Carolina when the strange object appeared in the sky.

The eyewitness noted that the object appeared brighter than the Moon. In the video, the object had a bright greenish hue and appeared to have a dark-colored center. Unfortunately, it is too dark in the video to be able to tell whether the object was flying across the sky or only hovering in place.

Smith stated that one of the residents in the area believes the bright glowing object was a new yard light installed by a neighbor. However, a YouTube user who saw Smith’s post commented that the object does not look like an ordinary yard light due to the way that it radiates.

“Filmed in the mountains of [North Carolina],” Smith stated in the video’s description. “The video doesn't do it justice. This light was up a hill in a valley and it lit up the entire valley, brighter than the Moon. The owners of the farm claim it’s a new yard light that their neighbor installed. It comes into focus at :22 but I left the beginning in for context in relation to the house.”

After reviewing the video uploaded by Smith, Scott Waring of the blog ET DataBase referred to the strange object as a UFO. According to the alien hunter, the alleged UFO is a type of alien vessel that resembles a wheel. He noted that these objects rotate continuously as they fly across the sky.

“This video was recorded by Shane Smith a YouTuber who was fast enough to catch this glowing UFO for us to see,” Waring stated in a blog post. “The UFO is one of many that is wheel like in nature. That means it actually rotates on a wheel.”
