WATCH: Girl Calls Donald Trump Impersonator 'Disgrace To The World' In Viral Video

A viral video of a young girl boldly calling President Donald Trump a “disgrace” went viral over the weekend — and understandably so. The girl's commentary appears to be earnest. The only problem is that the Trump in question is actually Trump impersonator Anthony Atamanuik, who hosts “The President Show” on Comedy Central.

The video surfaced Sunday and shows a young girl posing for a photo-op with the fake Trump before turning to him and saying, “You’re a disgrace to the world.” The clip, posted by user najahtaa and captioned “who is she,” amassed more than 250,000 retweets and 400,000 likes.

A significant percentage of the clip’s commenters seem to think it’s legitimate, which may explain its massive number of social shares. Amanuik piped in Sunday to let viewers know that the Trump in question was merely an impersonator. The real gem, however, is that the little girl reportedly dropped her bombshell on the fake Trump all on her own.

“I'm the guy playing Trump from the @PresidentShow and that little girl was brave, funny and smart,” Atamanuik tweeted Sunday. “Also, she said that if [sic] her own volition.”

One commenter replied to the video clip, tweeting, “I don't care if this girl planned that line or not. I love this girl.”

“I can promise she didn't,” Atamanuik replied. “I watched her form it in her mind right in front of me. She should be a new resistance meme!”

Atamanuik doubled on that claim Monday in tweet to another commenter. “Hey Matt, it was a segment on our show, and the little girl wasn't an actor,” he said. “No one 'Faked' anything. Also, the girl is still right!”

The clip appears to be ripped from a separate, less grainy video from “The President Show” that surfaced on Twitter a couple hours earlier. In it, the Comedy Central logo is visible in the lower right corner and Trump is immediately identifiable as an impersonator.
