CBS’ freshman drama, “God Friended Me,” aired its latest new episode on Jan. 13 before once again going on hiatus. There is no new episode on tonight, and there’s won’t be for another few weeks.

“Good news, next episode is so good,” show creator and executive producer Steven Lilien tweeted on Jan. 14. “Bad news, you have to wait a few weeks to see it. AFC Championship next week. Super Bowl week after, Grammy’s after that. Then we’re back. I know, it’s a long wait, but well worth it.”

CBS confirmed to International Business Times that “God Friended Me” Season 1 returns on Feb. 17 with episode 14, titled “The Trouble with the Curve.”

Here’s what you can expect from the upcoming showing, which features New York Yankee Pitcher CC Sabathia guest-starring as himself:

“Miles [Brandon Micheal Hall] reconnects with his high school baseball teammate, Cal (Charles Brice), when he gets a friend suggestion for a promising young baseball player who Cal is coaching,” the synopsis reveals. “Also, Arthur [Joe Morton] feels territorial when he’s informed that the Diocese is sending an assistant rector to mentor under him.”

Catch Season 1, episode 14 of “God Friended Me” when it returns on CBS on Feb. 17 at 8 p.m. EST.
