There’s no trip to Gotham tonight. “Batwoman” is not new tonight, but she’ll be back soon.

It seems The CW decided to air reruns tonight, which is not surprising. After all, the majority of live TV audiences will be watching the Super Bowl on Feb. 2. Fans who skip the big game to watch The CW will catch a rerun of Season 1, episode 5, titled “Mine is a Long and a Sad Tale.” The episode is all about Alice’s origin story, so it’s a good refresher for anyone who doesn’t recall the November episode.

Unfortunately, “Batwoman” won’t be back next week either. New episodes won’t return for two weeks. “Batwoman” Season 1, episode 12 airs Sunday, Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW, and it’ll pick up with last week’s cliffhanger.

At the end of episode 11, both Alice and Beth (Rachel Skarsten) experienced a simultaneous headache that looked incredibly painful. The team will search for answers.

“As Kate (Ruby Rose) is pulled between two sisters, Luke (Camrus Johnson) and Mary (Nicole Kang) are tasked with finding the cause behind Beth’s debilitating headaches,” the synopsis reveals.

The network’s official logline has a few other vague teasers: “A visitor delivers some good news to Jacob (Dougray Scott), while Sophie (Meagan Tandy) takes her new role to the extreme and Alice makes a devastating discovery.”

Meanwhile, showrunner Caroline Dries hinted that there will be more relationship drama for Kate, other than just her and Sophie’s longing looks. “We did do a pretty good job of it with Kate just being a lesbian and going through regular relationship drama. So I am hoping that is what happens with ‘Batwoman,’” she told the Hollywood Reporter. “As you’ll see, we have a little bit more romance to play. We’re going to spice up the dynamic a bit in Batwoman’s love life.”

Like “Batwoman,” “Supergirl” is also taking the next couple weeks off. Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist) will return right after Kate Kane on Feb. 16.

DC Comics fans can get their Arrowverse fix later this week. “Black Lightning” airs an all-new episode on Monday while “The Flash” and “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” have fresh installments on Tuesday.
