Three days before the Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns are scheduled to meet in Week 11, the two teams aren't certain of the location for their upcoming game. An impending snowstorm in western New York could force the NFL to move the game from Buffalo to a neutral site.

The latest weather update indicates that Buffalo could receive a record amount of snow. The city and its surrounding areas could receive up to six feet of precipitation before Sunday's 1 p.m. ET start at the Bills' Highmark Stadium.

"Buffalo and its southern suburbs may receive as much as 3 to 6 feet of snow by Sunday," AccuWeather Meteorologist Matt Benz said, noting that Thursday night into Friday and Saturday into Saturday night are expected to feature the heaviest periods of snowfall. "These two periods will likely feature the worst conditions of this event."

The NFL is reportedly monitoring the weather and preparing to potentially change locations. According to cleveland.com, several locations are being considered to host the Browns and Bills.

Ford Field in Detroit is viewed as one possible option. The Lions are visiting the New York Giants Sunday. A 2014 matchup between the New York Jets and Bills was moved from Buffalo to Detroit because of weather. The Bills also play in Detroit on Thanksgiving, making Ford Field a logical location for Sunday's contest.

ProFootballTalk has noted that Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field and FedEx Field in Washington D.C. are close stadiums that are not scheduled to host games in Week 11. It's unlikely that the matchup would be moved to Cleveland, giving the Browns an extra home game.

If the game isn't moved, the snowy conditions could make for an ugly contest. The Bills and Browns started the week with a betting total of 47. The over/under has since plummeted to 42.5 at FanDuel Sportsbook.

Buffalo has fallen to third place in the AFC East during its two-game losing streak. The Bills are still the favorites to win the Super Bowl.

Cleveland is 3-6 after losing five of its last six games. Deshaun Watson is expected to become the team's starting quarterback in two weeks when his suspension is lifted.

The league is expected to make a decision about the game's location by Friday.
