Add the Dallas Cowboys to the list of potential destinations for Odell Beckham Jr. For months, there have been rumors about where Beckham might sign, and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has made it clear that the team is interested in the wide receiver.

"Odell is someone that we have all the appreciation in the world for what he is as a competitor. I know the Cowboys star on that helmet when he puts it on could look pretty good," Jones told 105.3 The Fan's "Shan and RJ."

Beckham last played in the Super Bowl and has missed the entire season during his recovery from a torn ACL. According to Fox Sports' Jay Glazer, Beckham will be cleared to play by the end of the week.

The Cowboys were viewed as candidates to acquire a wide receiver at last week's trade deadline. Dallas didn't make any trades, but they could improve the receiving corps by adding Beckham.

Dallas has plenty of competition in pursuit of Beckham. The Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs have been linked to the receiver. There's a chance that Beckham could return to the Los Angeles Rams.

Jones has confidence in Dak Prescott's targets, whether or not Beckham becomes part of the roster.

"I really like where we are with our receiving core. Of course, we got [James] Washington coming back. And that's big. We've got [Michael] Gallup, who in my mind is just getting better, at the level we would expect him to be. [He's] improving every day. Of course, [CeeDee] Lamb, we think he's everything we wanted out of our No. 1 receiver," Jones said. "I like the way we're throwing the ball to our tight ends, and I think that's meaningful in this conversation because as I see us going forward that could basically dictate just how aggressive we are in any type of additions that we have here with our receivers. ...We may or may not get something done as far as adding at wide receiver, but if we don't, I like where we are."

CeeDee Lamb leads the Cowboys with 42 receptions for 556 yards. No other Dallas player is even on pace for 700 receiving yards.

Dallas' passing offense struggled to start the season while Prescott was out with a thumb injury. The Cowboys scored a season-high 49 points in their last games.

The Cowboys are 6-2 and potentially on their way to back-to-back playoff appearances for the first time in 15 years.
