The Wednesday night Powerball drawing did not produce a grand prize winner for the estimated $36.1 million jackpot with a cash option of $21.2 million.

The next drawing will take place on Saturday and will see the jackpot climb to an estimated $48 million with a cash value of $28.2 million.

The winning lottery numbers drawn on Wednesday night were 29, 44, 59, 61, 68, with a red Powerball pull of 19. The PowerPlay was 2X.

Although there were no grand prize winners, one player managed to become an instant millionaire.

A ticket holder in Missouri hit the Match 5 and won a $1 million prize. If the player would have hit matched five numbers with the 2X Power Play, they would have won $2 million.

Although there were no multi-million-dollar wins, several smaller monetary prizes resulted from the Wednesday Powerball drawing.

There were three players who hit the Match 4 plus red Powerball and won $50,000 each. Meanwhile, only one player was able to match four numbers plus the red Powerball with a 2X Power Play and won $100,000.

The rest of the prizes from the night ranged between $4 and $200. A total of 303,533 players won prizes from the Wednesday night jackpot.

The latest drawing comes as a ticket in Pennsylvania is set to expire. The ticket was purchased for the Sept. 20, 2021 drawing at a Wawa in Montgomery County.

The player has until the end of the business day on Sept. 20, 2022, to claim the prize.

Jackpot winners must match the six numbers on their ticket to the drawn six-number combination.

Five numbers must be selected from 1 to 69 for the white balls, and a number is selected from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.

There is a 1 in 292.2 million chance of winning the Powerball jackpot. Powerball drawings take place on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
