An employee for a Laurens County, South Carolina fast food restaurant was arrested after he turned the establishment into a makeshift tattoo parlor last week and serviced a minor, police said.

Brandon D’Marcus Presha, 28, was arrested Tuesday and charged with tattooing a minor and tattooing without a license over the illegal inking session at a 24-hour McDonald's in Laurens County last Friday, The Smoking Gun reported, citing police documents.

Authorities reportedly learned of the tattooing incident after witnesses posted videos showing the Riverdale, Georgia resident — who was wearing gloves and seated at a table in the McDonald's dining room — working on an unnamed client's arm.

Police have not revealed the age of the juvenile customer, whose arm was tattooed by Presha.

The would-be tattoo artist was held in the county jail on a $25,000 bond following the arrest.

Presha was previously sentenced to three years in prison after he pleaded guilty in December 2020 to a felony assault and battery charge. A judge, however, suspended the sentence and placed him on probation for two years.

The Laurens Police Department had charged Presha with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime for allegedly stabbing a person with a knife at least two times in late October 2020.

Presha's Tuesday arrest will likely prompt prosecutors to file a probation violation charge in relation to the 2020 conviction, according to The Smoking Gun.

A similar incident happened at a McDonald's branch in the Bronx, New York in 2017 when a night shift manager for the store was arrested for allegedly selling drugs as a side hustle.

Frank Guerrero was arrested for allegedly serving up cocaine with his orders at a McDonald's located along Bruckner Boulevard in Soundview. He unlocked doors to sell drugs in the middle of the night during his eight-year service at the branch, according to prosecutors.

Guerrero allegedly stashed the cocaine on a soap dispenser in the restaurant's bathroom before his shift started. He was also accused of peddling cocaine and crack with the burgers he sold.

Police and federal authorities reportedly learned of Guerrero's side hustle and ordered several drug buys before he was arrested.

A raid on Guerrero's Throgs Neck home seized 200 grams of cocaine and $5,300 in cash, prosecutors said. Authorities also arrested Guerrero's 24-year-old girlfriend, Leidy Cabral Castillo.
