A British ticket holder has scooped a staggering $256 million (185 million Euros) jackpot in the Euromillions lottery draw.

The winner now holds the title of being the biggest Euromillions jackpot winner becoming the 430th richest person in the country.

The winning ticket has the numbers 17, 19, 38, 42, 45 and Lucky Stars 9 and 10.

The Telegraph UK reported that the winner, who has not been identified, will now be richer than the Beckhams (165 million Euros), Sir Keith Mills, the founder of the Air Miles and Nectar cards (160m Euros) and Tamara Mellon, the founder of Jimmy Choo shoes (at 150 million Euros).

The previous largest jackpot in the UK was won in February 2006 at the Euromillions draw.
