The petition calling for justice for Mia Khalifa, a former porn star, has already received one million signatures.

The ex-porn star was very upfront when it comes to her regrets in joining the world of adult entertainment. She only had 11 videos in her brief stint in the porn industry that lasted three months.

However, she said that those videos would haunt her for life. Khalifa’s fans understood where she was coming from. To show their support to the ex-porn star, they started a petition calling for the removal of her videos from various porn websites and the return of her domain names.

Khalifa was very happy for the warm support from her fans and expressed her joy by inviting those who signed the petition to her birthday party.

“Does Gen Z sleep? I’m actually worried. Y’all I saw this like 30 minutes ago on tiktok and it had 500 signatures,” she wrote on Twitter on June 24.

“I love y’all so much everyone who’s signed this is invited to my birthday party. It’s a guest list not a petition.”

After only five days, the number of signatures for the petition skyrocketed. Apparently, many want justice for the former adult entertainer. The petition has already received over one million signature as of press time.

“We stand with you, you’re not alone,” one commented on Khalifa’s post.

“I signed twice Mia, does that mean I get to bring a +1 to your birthday party?” another added.

“We believe in you, you deserve justice and peace. already signed and always here for you and any other woman. have a nice night,” @AlejandraErhard opined.

Meanwhile, Khalifa has found a new world online. She discovered TikTok and she loves it. She used to turn off the comments section on her social media, but she now wants to engage with those who comment on her TikTok videos.

“I’ve never really enjoyed social media,” she told Mashable.

“As soon as I joined TikTok I found this whole new world where I can actually read the comments, and not feel like I should have them turned off and actually want to engage with the people commenting… they feel like my friends,” she said.
