Although Season 4, episode 5 of “The Flash” is entitled “Girls Night Out,” the male characters of the CW series also have a gathering of their own in the said installment.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the episode will actually feature the bachelor and bachelorette parties for Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris (Candice Patton), who are set to get married in this year’s four-way crossover between “Arrow,” “The Flash,” “Supergirl” and “Legends of Tomorrow.” The news outlet revealed that Cisco’s (Carlos Valdes) best-laid plans go awry with the guys, while a familiar face crashes the girls’ party.

The episode also features the first appearance of Katee Sackhoff as DC Comics villain Amunet Black, so it won’t be surprising if her character’s arrival ends up interrupting Barry and Iris’ parties. As previously reported, Amunet, aka Blacksmith, is a “steely” and “badass boss” of an underground black market for supervillains. Amunet uses every means possible, including a long list of metahumans under her control, to make sure that her forbidden venture flourishes.

While Barry and Iris’ wedding is already a go, Patton said that the couple still have to resolve some issues before they can actually walk down the aisle.

“There’s going to be some trust issues,” Patton told Entertainment Weekly last July of what viewers can expect from Barry and Iris’ relationship after the Scarlet Speedster gets out of the Speed Force at the beginning of the new season. “He left and didn’t really ask her or discuss it with her. He just kind of does things and comes back and says, ‘I hope you’re okay with that.’ They’re going to have to really work on their relationship before they actually tie the knot. … There’s going to be some work that needs to be done before they actually put rings on each other’s fingers.”

Patton shared the same thing during a separate chat with TV Guide. “They have communication issue,” the 29-year-old actress said when asked where Barry and Iris’ love story picks up in Season 4. “I think we’re gonna try and see them work through those.”

“The Flash” Season 4 premieres on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
