Jon Voight has spoken out amid the ongoing custody battle of daughter Angelina Jolie and her estranged husband Brad Pitt over their six children.

The Academy Award-winning actor disclosed that he is praying for the exes and their kids in the middle of the ongoing legal war that’s being painted as “heated” by several tabloids and news outlets. “I pray for all the members of the family — Brad as well,” Voight exclusively told Us Weekly at the 2019 Movieguide Awards in Hollywood on Friday.

The “Ray Donovan” star then firmly said that he believes “everybody’s gonna be OK” even though there have been rumors of “ugly” legal proceedings between Brangelina.

Earlier this week, there was a rumor that Jolie was planning to use a drunken footage of Pitt just so she could win full custody over their six children: Maddox, 17; Pax, 15; Zahara, 14; Shiloh, 12; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 10.

Another rumor claimed that Jolie was having a “breakdown” to the point that she’s been refusing to eat after learning that Pitt could be romantically involved with Charilze Theron. Nevertheless, both rumors have already been debunked.

In the same interview, Voight couldn’t help but gush about his daughter’s mothering skills. The actor seemed very proud of the fact that Jolie’s been showering her kids with love “every second of the day.”

Moreover, Voight praised Jolie for promoting individuality among her kids. According to him, the “Maleficent” actress did a great job because each of her and Pitt’s children are very different from one another that no one is similar to another.

“Angie’s very good at encouraging the kids to be what they want to be, do what they want to do,” he said. “…. they all go to school every day and work hard at school. But they’re encouraged to express themselves each in their own way.”

Voight’s statement comes more than a week after The Blast revealed that Brad and Angelina were photographed in a tense conversation during a legal meeting at a Beverly Hills Office on Jan. 30. At the time, Pitt was spotted pacing back and forth while Jolie looked visibly upset.

Brad and Angie tied the knot in August 2014 a decade after they “fell in love” on the set of their spy thriller “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.” Jolie reportedly filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016.
