Kate Middleton sparked fury after delivering Prince Louis.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have announced that they would keep their birth plans a secret. Many were disappointed as they were looking forward to getting photos of Prince Harry and Markle with their newborn. This matter has brought back the issues that the Duchess of Cambridge faced after giving birth to her youngest baby.

Ingrid Seward spoke to “Sunday Night” and revealed that Middleton received a lot of complaints for setting a “too high standard for motherhood.” The royal commentator was referring to the duchess’ look when she stepped out for Prince Louis’ public debut just hours after her delivery.

“Kate did have a little troop of hair stylists and make-up artist,” Seward explained, before adding that Middleton wanted to look her best.

“In fact, some mothers complained, she is setting too high a standard for motherhood because she turns up on the steps of a hospital, hours after giving birth, looking like a movie star,” the expert continued.

New moms were reportedly pressured to look as good as Middleton. Radio host Meshel Laurie, was among those who reacted against the Duchess of Cambridge.

According to her, Middleton’s immaculate and pristine look was giving new moms “unrealistic message.” She added that what Middleton did was not inspiring at all.

A number of moms also responded to the same concern by showing their not so pretty photos after delivery. Katy Hill shared a picture of her leaving the hospital after giving birth to her daughter and she looked very different from Middleton.

Hill admitted that after seeing Middleton’s beautiful photos she felt “sad.” She added that Middleton was robbed of the “intimate magic of those first few precious hours” with her newborn because she had to blow dry her hair, wear makeup and high heels.

In related news, Meghan Markle is not pressured to look “immaculate” just like Middleton after her delivery. According to an insider, the Duchess of Sussex is an anxious mom and nervous about the complications, but she doesn’t want to be pressured to “look immaculate on the hospital steps just hours later” after giving birth.
