'League Of Legends' Rakan And Xayah Free Icons: How To Honor The Feather Pals

Riot is giving away two new League Of Legends icons in honor of the two new champions coming in patch 7.8: Rakan and Xayah. From April 19 at 11 a.m. EST to April 27 at 3 a.m. EST, you can acquire these icons by doing a few things for the feathered bot-lane couple.

Here’s what you have to do to unlock both sparkly, romantic icons:

Gift Of Magic: Rakan and Xayah are the first two champions in League Of Legends that can be gifted to friends with IP. For 6300 IP, you can gift either one of the pair to someone on your friends list, which will net you the icon. You can also use RP, but why would anyone use real money when they don’t have to? Remember, it does take one day after friending someone before you can gift them a skin or champion, so if you want this icon, now is a good time to add me in-game and give me something nice. :)

Blazing Feathers Icon: If you bring Xayah and Rakan into two games of League of Legends , you can unlock this gorgeous icon. Play any mode: ranked, normal or bot games will all unlock this skin. They can just be on your team, you don’t need to play as them to unlock the reward.
