Leonard Snart (Wentworth Miller), a.k.a. Captain Cold, is going to have a completely different dynamic with Mick (Dominic Purcell) and Sara (Caity Lotz) when he shows up once again in Season 2 of “Legends of Tomorrow.”

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly at the Television Critics Association’s press tour on Wednesday, Miller said that he thinks Leonard is a “straight up villain” when Mick, Sara and the rest of the Legends meet him again.

“[I think] he hasn’t gone on that first season ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ journey yet,” the 44-year-old actor said of the new version of Leonard that will be introduced in the second half of the current season. “So when we meet him again — quote unquote alive in 2017 — I imagine that he’s going to be much like when we first met him the first season on ‘The Flash,’ which I’m looking forward to, because it means I get to arc to a completely different place.”

If that really ends up to be the case, then Miller thinks that Leonard is going to be disappointed with Mick for working alongside a group of heroes. “I think some of that disappointment would steam from being triggered by watching his former buddy, a hard criminal, show a softer, more heroic side, because that might mean to Snart that he, too, is capable of showing a softer, more heroic side,” explained the Golden Globe-nominated actor.

Leonard’s relationship with Sara won’t also be the same. Before Leonard met his demise, he and Sara shared a kiss. But when he returns to the show, Leonard doesn’t remember a thing about it.

“I’m also looking forward very much to whatever the writers have in store as far as Snart and White Canary,” the “Prison Break” actor said. “There was a kiss, remembered by White Canary, but not Snart.”

Leonard was last seen in Season 2, episode 8, in which he appeared as Mick’s hallucinations. In the episode, Mick didn’t tell anyone that he’s seeing visions of his late partner, but based on the synopsis for the upcoming winter premiere, it seems that Mick is going to tell Dr. Stein (Victor Garber) about it and ask for help.

“Legends of Tomorrow” returns to The CW from its midseason hiatus with an all-new episode, titled “Raiders of the Lost Art,” on Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 9 p.m.
